JOB OPPORTUNITY(added 14/7/08) I am looking for someone to work in our boarding kennels & cattery near GATWICK, Surrey on Saturdays and Sundays. 8 am to 6 pm - rate of pay dependant on age & experience (although experience is NOT necessary - we can train) but will be above minimum wage. Ideally someone who can drive and is able to work on their own. My present weekend staff are both off to Uni at the end of the month and I really need to get someone QUICKLY! You bet! Hello and welcome to our site. My name is Carol Eastwood and I have been involved with the German Shepherd Dog for over 25 years. I registered the kennel affix ANTILLI in 1987 and bred my first show champion in 1996. In March 2001, together with my good friend Alyson Reilly, we took out a separate interest in my affix Antilli, and since then we have bred several litters together, starting from the W litter Antilli. We work closely together training and showing our dogs and both have a lot of knowledge of training and breeding. We both have the same ambitions for the kennel and look forward to the future. At Antilli we breed Sable and Black & Gold GSD's for showing, working or much loved family pets and companions. We currently have an outstanding male German import at stud and 2 young home bred males, see males page. We do not breed many litters, maybe 1 or 2 a year, they are carefully planned and well reared and available to approved homes only. Carol is a qualified Championship & Open Show Judge in the breed ring, awarding CC's in Great Britain and Green Stars in Ireland, Alyson started in obedience working her dogs up to competition C and later went on to become an International Agility judge, we both train the dogs in schutzhund and Alyson has trained and qualified one of our dogs to SchH1 level. Whilst we still show and support the GSD scene in the UK, we will be concentrating our efforts more on showing in Europe. This means that our dogs must also be trained and titled in Schutzhund and be breed surveyed(Körung). It is obviously too late for some of the older dogs, but all youngsters will now go through the German training programme. All dogs are also hip and elbow x-rayed(BVA and/or German A stamp)and will be DNA tested. Where possible, we will try to compete annually at the German Sieger show(GSD World Championships). We now have facilities and trainers to undertake show, fitness and schutzhund training on a residential/non residential basis. Thank you for visiting
