JOB OPPORTUNITY

I am looking for someone to work in our boarding kennels & cattery (near GATWICK, SURREY) on Saturdays and Sundays. 8 am to 6 pm - rate of pay dependant on age & experience (although experience is NOT necessary - we can train) but will be above minimum wage. Ideally someone who can drive and is able to work on their own. My present weekend staff are both off to Uni at the end of the month and I really need to get someone QUICKLY! We have 34 kennels and 16 cat cabins and the successful applicant must also be prepared to look after our Antilli show GSDs ( 6 kennel dogs - the rest live indoors) You can contact me on my mobile:- 07711 195318 or e-mail me @ alysonr06@aol.com

Bazko qualified CDex at his first Working Trial with the highest score of the stake. Congratulations to Bazzie and his handler Les. Here are the details from an e mail from Les:

The Trial we entered, our very first, was at Surrey Dog Training Society, it was a KC Championship Trial and we competed in the CD Stake, there were 23 entered; only three qualified, the trials manager was Stan Ford and the judge for CD was Liz de Unger. The total marks for the CD stake are 100 and you need 80% to qualify CDx (Companion Dog Excellent), we achieved 84.5, which both qualified us and won the stake! I have attached a picture taken just after the presentation. By far his strongest point is his nose work, so I can't wait to get on and compete in UD at the earliest opportunity, it is good to get this CD behind us and some argue it is one of the hardest to do, we certainly didn’t expect to do it on our first outing.

Antilli Axel Schh2, KKl1 makes V4 in the open male class, Judge Seifert. Axel was the highest placed British bred male and completed a successful courage test.
