What better way to enjoy a Happy Thanksgiving than to make a huge trade or two in your fantasy football leagues! Hey, grandpa, wanna take a chance on Russell Wilson or Jarvis Landry? I see Alvin Kamara on your bench! Let's talk turkey!

OK, perhaps that one is a bit too much, but time is really running out to make trades in ESPN standard leagues. The trade deadline is Wednesday, Dec. 1, at noon ET. Do not wait that long to improve your teams! Enjoy the latest edition of the end-of-season rankings and trade index, discussing the latest trends with injuries and player value. Good luck and gobble, gobble!

          Quarterback

Rankings changes: There are some odd names among the top QB scorers each week, but in Week 11, it was Trevor Siemian, Taylor Heinicke and Colt McCoy among the top 10. Odd indeed. Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes and Dak Prescott struggled. Russell Wilson really struggled. Lamar Jackson and Kyler Murray sat. Ultimately, Philadelphia's Jalen Hurts moves way up. After all, he leads all QBs in fantasy points, though he still has a bye week left. Carolina's Cam Newton - another runner! - and underrated Viking Kirk Cousins also move up and a whole lot of others move down.

Trade for: Is anyone truly safe now? Buffalo's Allen has averaged a mere 15.5 PPR over the past three games. If you trade for a QB, do you want to replace them for a week when they still serve their bye? This week, Mahomes and Murray are off. In Weeks 13/14, Aaron Rodgers, Newton, Hurts and others sit out. Burrow, at No. 11, may be the final, safe QB1 now.

Be cautious trading for: Everyone else? Newton is an interesting call, with no assurances he plays if the Panthers lose a few games. Wilson looked terrible yet again and Seattle's season is just about over. The Seahawks could opt to sit him at some point. Hard to believe so many of us thought Tennessee's Ryan Tannehill was a QB1. Run away.

          Running back

Rankings changes: There were few issues among top running backs in Week 11, especially with Jonathan Taylor and Austin Ekeler! Taylor was already No. 1, and Ekeler moves back up again. Some names moves around in the RB2/RB3 range, notably Miles Sanders, Clyde Edwards-Helaire and, unfortunately, Elijah Mitchell. Roster Mark Ingram II in case he keeps playing a lot and Alvin Kamara does not. Same with Baltimore and Devonta Freeman. No Bills, Titans, Seahawks running backs look like much fun to rely on now.

Trade for: Nothing like relying on a top running back in December! Trade what it takes to get any of the top 10 options, even Christian McCaffrey and Kamara. Anyone can get hurt, in theory. Meanwhile, Gibson's volume in Washington is impressive.

Be cautious trading for: James Robinson scored a touchdown, but did not run well. Mitchell had finger surgery and the 49ers have depth. Perhaps Cordarelle Patterson is fine this week, but some sprained ankles take longer to heal.

          Wide receiver

Rankings changes: Not much at this position. The Seattle WRs have to drop more in the ranks and several young players rise, led by the 49ers' Brandon Aiyuk, Jets' Elijah Moore and Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle. A concussed CeeDee Lamb may miss this week's game, but those passing him in the rankings had big performances, too. See if Michael Gallup, Darnell Mooney and Rondale Moore remain available in your leagues.

Trade for: Injured Cardinal DeAndre Hopkins may still be the dividing line for safety at this position, though several young receivers ranked after him are so enticing (Aiyuk, DeVonta Smith, Jerry Jeudy, etc.).

Be cautious trading for: Not sure trading for a wide receiver makes much sense, unless it is a top option. One can stream youngsters at the position. Perhaps you can get DK Metcalf for less than value, but it hardly means he will be worth it. Ja'Marr Chase caught a TD pass, but he also he last reached 50 receiving yards in Week 7.

          Tight end

Rankings changes: Zach Ertz was a major part of the Cardinals offense on Sunday, and this should continue in December. He moves way up! Good to see T.J. Hockenson and Mike Gesicki get their targets back. Pat Freiermuth keeps scoring touchdowns. Tight end is rather deep now, even though Dan Arnold disappointed us. Keep the faith!
